I am licensed in the State of Missouri a Member of the Missouri Land Title Association and a Member of the National Association of Title Examiners and Abstractors. My background as a Right of Way Agent, Land Title Supervisor and now Owner of my own company brings confidence and experience to the table. You don’t need title assurance when you buy a computer, a cell phone, or a new pair of shoes. You take actual possession of such property and title automatically passes to you by delivery of the item or items. By contrast, it would be difficult to actually hand over and deliver to a purchaser a 60-acre farm or a city lot. In the case of real estate, delivery of the property to a purchaser is symbolic rather than actual. I enjoy research and title abstracting is like a treasure hunt or a complex puzzle making all the pieces fit perfectly.
